Gestalt: Steam & Cinder Arriving on PC Next Month

Publisher Fireshine Games and developer Metamorphosis Games announced the 2D sidescrolling RPG Gestalt: Steam & Cinder will release for PC on May 21, 2024. The announcement comes with the release of a demo version of the game, available now on Steam. The demo lets players go through to take on the game’s first boss.

Drawing inspiration from classic 16-bit and 32-bit sidescrolling titles, Gestalt: Steam & Cinder mixes 2D platforming with action combat. The steampunk game follows mercenary Aletheia as she and her acquaintances become involved in a conspiracy in the city of Canaan. The game was initially slated for release on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2020, but no news has been provided about a console release.
