Touhou Genso Wanderer -Foresight- Releasing in May

Developer AQUASTYLE and publisher Phoenixx have announced roguelike dungeon-crawling RPG Touhou Genso Wanderer -Foresight- will be making its way to PC via Steam on May 15, 2024. The Touhou Project fan game follows the story of Reimu Hakurei, who awakens in Hakurei Shrine without her memories after being defeated in battle. Alongside the deuteragonist, Marisa Kirisame, she begins her journey to reclaim her memories and prevent the destruction of Gensokyo from a mysterious enemy in the process.

In Touhou Genso Wanderer -Foresight-, players must rebuild the Hakurei Shrine by collecting supplies and facing enemies along the way, including fairies, vampires, and shapeshifters. With the help of 60+ Touhou characters, each with their own unique attributes, players will encounter many dangers while exploring the dungeons. These dangers include Reimu taking damage over time if her stamina levels drop, failure to illuminate unexplored map tiles resulting in traps that cause blindness, stun, poison, and equipped items to get disarmed.

I have been gaming since I received the Sega Master System as a young child, which was the first console I ever owned (Yes, I am that old). The game that got me into RPGs was Final Fantasy VIII, a game that I still adore to this day. My favorite RPG of all time, however, is Shadow Hearts on the PS2.
