Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter Announced

Developer Odd Bug Label and publisher United Label have announced a sequel to 2021’s adventure RPG Tails of Iron. Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter will release later this year on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter puts players in the role of Arlo, son of the Warden of the North in the realms of the Ratdom. Arlo embarks on a quest for revenge following a brutal attack by the Dark Wings. Voice actor Doug Cockle returns as the narrator from the previous game for Arlo’s quest.

Tails of Iron 2 will introduce multiple new elements, including monster-hunting sidequests against gigantic foes. Meanwhile, Arlo is able to imbue his weapons with new element effects and abilities. Players are also able to use settlement mechanics to rebuild the rats’ garrison of Winter’s Edge, from which Arlo sets to explore the frontier and encounter new allies and foes.
