Dragon’s Dogma 2 Gets Eight-Minute Welcome Trailer

Capcom has released a new trailer for action RPG Dragon’s Dogma 2 ahead of the game’s worldwide release next week. The eight-minute video is narrated by actor Ian McShane, who details the game’s player customised protagonist, the story premise, Pawn allies, the two nations of the setting, and the various monsters that players will fight against.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 takes place in a parallel world to the original Dragon’s Dogma and Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. Players control a customised character known as the Arisen, a champion whose heart has been stolen by the Dragon, and are joined by up to three NPC Pawn allies. The game is set to release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on June 22, 2024. A Character Creator & Storage tool is available for players to create and save five designs for their main character and main Pawn, which will be transferred to the full game.
