Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Creator Tool Available
Capacom held a special Capcom Highlights presentation, during which it provided new details on the upcoming action RPG Dragon’s Dogma 2. The presentation also provided a look at and details for the upcoming strategic action title Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 director Hideaki Itsuno and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi provided an overview of the game and its various features, which takes place in a parallel world to the original Dragon’s Dogma and Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. Players control a customised character known as the Arisen, a champion whose heart has been stolen by the Dragon, and are joined by up to three NPCs Pawn allies.
Following this, they announced that the game’s “Character Creator & Storage” tool is now available to download for free on PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The tool will allow players to create and save five designs for their main character and main Pawn, which will be transferred to the full game. In addition, a number of official Pawns created by selected content creators will be made available for other players to use in the game. The rest of the presentation was devoted to an exploration of the tool.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is set to release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Those wishing to see more footage from the game can check out a series of 50-second gameplay videos highlighting the following Vocations (classes) available that Capcom released over the past few weeks: Fighter, Thief, Archer, Mage, Warrior, Sorcerer, Magick Archer, Mystic Spearhand, and Trickster.
