Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Gets Debut Gameplay Footage
Paradox Interactive and The Chinese Room have released the first gameplay videos for first-person action RPG Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. The three-minute trailer shows customisable protagonist Phyre exploring a warehouse facility and taking down enemies before encountering the character Willem. Meanwhile, a thirty-minute extended reveal features Creative Director Alex Skidmore and Community Manager Joshua Matthews, who dive deeper into the game’s mechanics and setting.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is a follow-up to 2004 PC title Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. Bloodlines 2 returns players to the world of the Masquerade, an agreement between all the vampire clans that requires vampires do not reveal themselves to the world. Players control a customisable, fully-voiced protagonist named Phyre, an Elder Kindred who has been asleep for 100 years before waking up in modern-day Seattle. The game is currently planned for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in fall 2024.
