Sword Art Online: Last Recollection Gets Its First DLC

Publisher and developer Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Sword Art Online: Last Recollection will be getting its first DLC titled Ritual of Bonds Vol 1. It will be coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC worldwide on January 25, 2024. Kirito and his companions must explore a dungeon that has appeared under the Obsidia Castle Town and face many trials along the way. Popular characters from the series such as Asuna, Lisbeth, Silica, Sinon, Philia, and many more will be playable in Rituals of Bond Vol 1.

Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is the last entry in the game series and is based on the War of the Underworld arc from the anime. It follows an original storyline chronicling what might have happened if Eugeo never met his tragic end in the War of the Underworld. For those who are interested in playing it but still haven’t had the chance to, there is a demo available that allows players to transfer their save data over to the full game.
