Persona 3 Reload Gets Battle Trailer, Opening Gameplay Footage

Atlus released a new English trailer for Persona 3 Reload ahead of the game’s launch next week. The two-minute “battle strategy” trailer demonstrates the game’s turn-based combat features, including elemental weaknesses, powerful all-out attacks, status effects, Persona abilities, and brand new Theurgy ultimate skills. In addition, the company released the first 45 minutes of gameplay for Persona 3 Reload’s Japanese version showing the protagonist’s first encounter with the Dark Hour as well as their introductions to the game’s initial cast and locations.

Persona 3 Reload is the latest remake of PlayStation 2 title Persona 3. The game sees players controlling a new high school transfer student. They become involved in a series of incidents surrounding the temporary anomaly called the Dark Hour, using summoned beings known as Personas to fight against beings called Shadows. Persona 3 Reload will release worldwide on February 2, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
