Wartales DLC Releasing Next Week

Shiro Unlimited announced that its Pirates of Belerion DLC for tactical RPG Wartales will release on December 14, 2023. The DLC will be available via Steam and GOG.com, and will come alongside a free update that includes a new character class, a new weapon, new items, and new character customisation options.

Pirates of Belerion is set in an archipelago that made up the old kingdom of Belerion. Since the kingdom’s collapse, the population has turned to piracy to survive and many sailors refuse to travel its waters. Players embark on a new 25-hour adventure as they seek to conquer the seas while upgrading their ship and uncovering the secrets of the region.

Wartales takes place in the remnants of the Edoran Empire, which still suffer from the effects of a plague one hundred years earlier. Players attempt to survive the cutthroat world by recruiting mercenaries and taking on dangerous missions to pay the bills. The game released for PC in April 2023, with Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S versions following in September and October respectively.
