Front Mission 1st: Remake Getting Free Content Update

Forever Entertainment announced that it will be releasing a free content update for tactical RPG Front Mission 1st: Remake. The “Mercenaries” update is planned to release sometime in 2024. It will include a new set of single player scenarios, a local hot-seat multiplayer mode, and new characters, including a commander that introduces players to the update’s content.

Front Mission 1st: Remake is a remake of the first entry in the series, which was originally released for Super Famicom in Japan in 1995. The series is set in an alternate future where mechas called wanzers are the primary tools of conflict. The remake originally released for Nintendo Switch in 2022, with PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S versions released in June 2023.
