What the Duck Releasing Next Week
Publisher Untold Tales announced that it is releasing Seize Studios’s What the Duck next week. The hack-and-slash action RPG will release for PC and Nintendo Switch on November 9, 2023.
What the Duck is set in a world where people are able to summon and control their own spirit animals. However, while others get to summon mighty allies, players are left with a duck. As players try to make a name for themselves, they explore four biomes and take on quests, enemies, puzzles, mini-games, and more.
Players are able to switch weapons on the fly to create combos and make use of elemental buffs. New weapons can be created with a rhythm-based crafting mini-game. The player’s duck ally is able to add its own attacks as well as use its abilities to solve puzzles and uncover secrets.
