ATONE: Heart of the Elder Tree Gets New Videos

Untold Tales and Wildboy Studios have released two new videos for upcoming puzzle and rhythm RPG ATONE: Heart of the Elder Tree. The first video shows two minutes of combat footage on the game’s Hard Mode, where players have to deal with four “rails” as opposed to its normal mode that features two “rails”. Meanwhile, the second video features a sneak peek of the game’s soundtrack with the “Sons of Fenrir” track.

ATONE: Heart of the Elder Tree is set in a world abandoned by the gods, leaving mortals to fend for themselves and the sacred Elder Tree is left open to manipulation. Players control Estra, the daughter of mankind’s last great leader and its remaining hope, through incrementally challenging puzzles. The game’s combat is inspired by rhythm games, with each fight’s unique music track playing an important role, though combat is entirely skippable in the game’s story mode. ATONE: Heart of the Elder Tree will release digitally on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on January 27, 2023.
