Lords of the Fallen Reboot Update Features Difficulty Reblancing, More

CI Games and Hexworks released a new free update for the Lords of the Fallen reboot. The “Way of the Bucket” includes a new eponymous quest line, as well as new spells, improved matchmaking, and other gameplay improvements and bug fixes.

The update also features the latest difficulty rebalances. Compared to its launch state, the game currently features reduced enemy density on its first playthrough, reduced enemy follow distance, reduced enemy accuracy, and more. In addition, the difficulty of bosses has been increased. Full details about the update content and difficulty rebalancing can be found on dedicated news posts.

Lords of the Fallen is set a thousand years after the events of the original 2014 game and released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in October. The game sees players becoming the bearer of an ancient lamp and joining the Dark Crusaders. They must use the lamp to restore radiance to the land’s five beacons to put a stop to the demon God Adyr’s uprising.
