Sword Art Online: Last Recollection Demo Available

Bandai Namco has released a demo for Sword Art Online: Last Recollection ahead of the game’s release next week. The demo is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It lets players access the opening chapter of the game and transfer their save progress to the full version. In addition, Bandai Namco released its opening animation with the theme song “VITA”, performed by ReoNa, plus an English character trailer showing Yuki and a Japanese character trailer introducing Mito.

Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is planned as the last entry in the game series’s continuity. Its events are inspired by the main light novel/anime series’ Underworld War arc. It sees Kirito preparing for battle as the gate to the Dark Territory opens, threatening to unleash terror on the Human Realm in the Underworld, while in the real world, forces are attempting to evolve AIs through its warfare. Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is set to release on October 6, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
