Persona 3 Reload Releasing in February
Atlus announced that Persona 3 Reload, its latest remake of Persona 3, will release worldwide on February 2, 2024. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It is available to pre-order physically and digitally now, with pre-orders receiving the Persona 4 Golden BGM Set DLC that adds six background tracks from Persona 4 Golden.
Alongside the release date announcement, Atlus released a new “Meet the S.E.E.S.” trailer as well as new screenshots showing characters Koromaru, Aigis, Ken Amada, and Shinjiro Aragaki. Famitsu also posted an interview with key development staff, available in English, which includes confirmation of a full Social Link for Aigis in Reload and the reveal of a new battle music track.
Persona 3 is a turn-based RPG that sees players controlling a transfer student in the Japanese city of Iwatodai, using summoned beings known as Personas to fight. They become involved in a series of incidents surrounding a temporary anomaly called the Dark Hour that exists between one day and the next. The Dark Hour includes the appearance of a tower known as Tartarus, and players join the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad tasked with investigating it. Reload will include new features such as revamped graphics and UI, a new English voice cast, and a rework of its Tartarus dungeon, though it will not include the female protagonist added in the previous Persona 3 Portable remake.
