New Across the Obelisk Expansion Released

Paradox Interactive announced that it has acquired co-op deckbuilding roguelite Across the Obelisk. The game, developed by Dreamsite Games, was originally released for PC, Mac, and Linux in 2022 under the publisher’s Paradox Arc initiative. In addition to the acquisition, Paradox Interactive revealed that a new expansion is out now.

Titled Sands of Ulminin, the expansion is available on Steam for $19.99/€19.99. It sends players to desert canyons, where they unlock the mysteries of the pyramids. The content can be accessed from Act 2 or 3 from the game and features two new heroes and a new zone, as well as new dungeons, events, items, enemies, bosses, and more.

Across the Obelisk sees players creating a party and taking part in turn-based tactical combat. It features single player and co-op with up to three others as the party takes its own path that branches across the world based on their decisions. The base game features sixteen playable characters, over 500 upgradeable cards, and over 200 items.
