Long Gone Days Releasing in October

Publisher Serenity Forge and developer This I Dreamt announced that Long Gone Days will fully release on October 10, 2023. The narrative-driven wartime RPG, which has been on Steam Early Access since 2018, will be available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Long Gone Days is set in a war-torn version of Earth and stars Rourke, who has been trained from birth to be a sniper by a subterranean paramilitary state called the Core. However, on his first mission, he comes to realise the war he trained for was not what he was taught, and considers desertion to help bring the bloodshed to an end.

The game features choice mechanics as players build bonds with their allies, as well as numerous real-world complexities such as language barriers. The game features two different combat systems, with players able to participate in strategic turn-based fights as well as use Rourke’s sniper skills to take down targets from long-range, with no random encounters.
