Jagged Alliance 3 Trailer Introduces Its Mercenaries

THQ Nordic released a new trailer for the upcoming strategy RPG Jagged Alliance 3. The three-minute “Mercenary” trailer introduces the various fighters that players can recruit to join their force to liberate the country of Grand Chien, as well as some of the tactical opportunities they grant. Players will need to pay their mercenaries or they will quit — with more skilled mercenaries having a higher asking price — while some of the mercenaries will be affected by personal preferences and dislikes that may hinder their selection.

Jagged Alliance 3 features new RPG elements for the series, including character levels, perks, loot, and equipment. The game’s campaign sees players fighting for control over territories, training local forces, and establishing multiple squads as they control a mercenary force in the country of Grand Chien, which is in chaos following the rise of a brutal regime known as the Legion. Jagged Alliance 3 will release for PC via Steam on July 14, 2023, and will be available for $49.99/€44.99/£39.99, with a 20% launch discount.
