Mugen Souls Z Releasing on Switch

Publisher Eastasiasoft announced that it is releasing Compile Heart’s strategy RPG Mugen Souls Z on Nintendo Switch in North America, Europe, and Hong Kong. The game will release on September 14, 2023, with physical copies to be available to pre-order in Limited and Standard Editions from Play-Asia from June 22, 2023. The Limited Edition will include a manual, a two-disc soundtrack, a set of sticker sheets, an art book and a numbered certificate in a collector’s box.

Mugen Souls Z is a sequel to Mugen Souls and sees protagonist Chou-Chou return as she tries to conquer the twelve Zodiac worlds with a cast featuring new and returning characters. It features turn-based combat on free-roaming battlefields with a 9999 level cap. The game was originally released for PlayStation 3 in Japan in 2013 and in North America and Europe in 2014, with a PC version released in 2015. Eastasiasoft stated that the Nintendo Switch version will include all of the Japanese release’s extra content as well as Japanese and English audio options.
