Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Gets New Trailer, Launching Early 2024

Square Enix released a new trailer and screenshots for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the upcoming second part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy. The video shows Cloud and allies stepping out into the wider world following their exit from Midgar. It shows Yuffie and Red XIII as fully playable party members, as well as some more characters and locations that appeared in the original Final Fantasy VII.

Square Enix revealed an updated release window for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, with the game planned to launch for PlayStation 5 in early 2024. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be available as a standalone title, with the company also revealing that the game’s physical version will be spread over two discs. Taking place after the events of Remake, it sees the party venturing in pursuit of Sephiroth, a vengeful swordsman thought to be dead.
