Lords of the Fallen Reboot Launching in October

CI Games and Hexworks announced that action RPG Lords of the Fallen will release on October 13, 2023. Originally announced as Lords of the Fallen 2, before being later referred to as The Lords of the Fallen, and now simply titled Lords of the Fallen, the game is now considered a full reboot to the 2014 title of the same name. It will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

In addition to announcing the release date, the companies also announced that pre-orders for the game are now live. The game will come in three editions: a standard edition, physical and digital Deluxe Editions, and a physical Collector’s Edition. The Deluxe Editions include a copy of the game (physical or digital), as well as the in-game Dark Crusader Starting Class equipment set, a 100-page digital art book, a digital soundtrack download, and a 3D in-game model viewer. The Collector’s Edition includes:

  • Physical copy of Lords of the Fallen
  • 10’’ Dark Crusader figurine
  • Metal display case with LED mood lighting and remote control
  • Collector’s SteelBook
  • Double-sided poster
  • Set of art cards
  • 100-page physical art book

Lords of the Fallen is set in a world split between the realms of the living and the dead. Players travels between the two realms, aiming to overthrown Adyr, the demon God. Like its predecessor, it features an open world, and will include two-player online co-op.
