Tamarak Trail Gets Gameplay Video

Publisher Versus Evil and developer Yarrow Games released a new video for dice-building roguelike Tamarak Trail. The five-minute video offers an overview of the game’s premise and gameplay systems. The game is planned to release for PC via Steam in Q2 2023.

Tamarak Trail is set in a decaying world, with players controlling a member of a secret society named the Sturgeon Lodge who sets out to uncover the mystery and source of the corruption. The game’s turn-based combat makes use of customisable dice. Rolling dice determines the player’s potential actions each turn, which include direct attacks, damage over time, buffs, debuffs, and defence. As players progress, they can apply newly-gained abilities to individual sides of each die.
