Fuga: Melodies of Steel Gets New Update

CyberConnect2 released a new update for Fuga: Melodies of Steel. The version 1.50 update adds a new Retry Mode, an enhanced Turbo Mode, and new formation screen info.

The Retry Mode is designed to assist players in reaching the game’s true ending. It starts the game from the Chapter 7 with all children revived and stats carried over from the previous completion. Meanwhile, the game’s Turbo Mode is now available to all players starting from the first playthrough and its speed is now doubled. Finally, the new binoculars lets players check enemy stats from the formation screen. There are also other changes including automatic crop harvesting, a UI navigation overhaul, and more.

Any save file will grant the nostalgic outfit set and a set of items designed to be useful early in the game, while those with normal ending data will get an in-game jukebox letting them use different music in the intermissions and those will true ending data will get an in-game photo of the children.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch and takes place in a setting inspired by France during World War II. The game follows a group of eleven children in command of a tank as they aim to rescue their captured families. The tank has a very powerful weapon, the Soul Cannon, but using it requires one of the characters to sacrifice themselves. Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 takes place a year later and will release worldwide on May 11, 2023.
