Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released over the week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases where the game is still in development.
Demeo

Demeo combines tabletop RPG and card-based gameplay, with up to four players joining together to tackle an adventure. Each adventure tasks the party with venturing through a three-floor dungeon to defeat the boss at the end. Line of sight is a major mechanic, with players not knowing what enemies await them until they turn corners or open doors. Both VR and non-VR versions are available.
Digimon World: Next Order

Digimon World: Next Order sees players getting sucked into the Digital World to discover it overrun by Machinedramons. They are rescued by two Digimon and must journey with their new partners to discover the source of the Machinedramon and find a way back to the real world. Players can choose either a male or female protagonist and are able to meet and recruit over two-hundred Digimon.
Gamedec

Gamedec is based on the novels by Marcin Przybyłek. It takes place in the 22nd century and sees players acting as a private detective tasked with solving crimes that occur in an assortment of virtual worlds. Horizon Call of the Mountain

Virtual reality title Horizon Call of the Mountain is a spin-off to the Horizon series. It stars new protagonist Ryas, a former Shadow Carja Warrior aiming to redeem himself by investigating a new threat, though Aloy and other series characters will appear.
Like a Dragon: Ishin!

Like a Dragon: Ishin! is a remake of Ryū ga Gotoku Ishin!, a spin-off of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise that casts that series’ characters in the end of the Tokugawa Shogunate as the country veers toward revolution. Players take control of historical figure Sakamoto Ryoma, represented by main series’ protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, a samurai framed for the murder of his mentor who sets out for justice.
Octopath Traveler II

Turn-based RPG Octopath Traveler II follows the intertwined stories of its eight protagonists, each with their own class, and tells a new story to its predecessor. Players select one of the protagonists to start their journey, eventually crossing paths with the other heroes and recruiting them to the party, after which they can play through the new recruits’ stories.
Redemption Reapers

Tactical RPG Redemption Reapers is set in a world beset by the sudden appearance of the Mort armies. Players control the Ashen Hawk Brigade, a mercenary group specialising in surprise tactics fighting back against the Mort.
Tyrant’s Blessing

Tactical RPG Tyrant’s Blessing is set in the land of Tyberia, after the eponymous Tyrant took it over and turned its populace into undead magic-bound thralls. Players command the realm’s few surviving warriors as they lead an uprising and attempt to banish the Tyrant back to the depths of the sea. The game features strategic and choice elements as players need to decide whether to spend their time fighting, rescuing survivors, or building up their strength.
