Like a Dragon: Ishin! Shows Another Life, Japanese Cast Interviews

Sega released a new trailer for Ryū ga Gotoku Studio’s Like a Dragon: Ishin!. The new minute-long video shows the game’s “Another Life” side-story content, where protagonist Sakamoto Ryoma steps away from conflict to spend some time on the farm. In addition, Sega released a set of interviews with the game’s Japanese cast. In the videos, studio director Masayoshi Yokoyama speaks with Hideo Nakano (Takechi Hanpeita), Hitoshi Ozawa (Ito Kashitaro), and Riki Takeuchi (Takeda Kanryusai) about their roles in the game.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! is a remake of Ryū ga Gotoku Ishin!, a spin-off of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise that casts that series’ characters in the end of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Players take control of historical figure Sakamoto Ryoma, here represented by main series’ protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, as the country veers toward revolution. The game will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on February 23, 2023.
