Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story 2 Full Release Pushed to 2023

Publisher PQube and developer Agate announced that the full release of Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story 2 is now planned for 2023. The game, which is currently available on Steam Early Access, will launch digitally for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, with physical editions to be released for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

A follow-up to Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story, Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story 2 puts players in command of a kingdom-funded school that trains students to help solve the kingdom’s issues, which include rats in the sewers, villager-terrorising dragons, and looters from neighbouring kingdoms. Each student is given their own traits and preferences, while players can personalise their academy.

In addition to announcing the new release window, the companies also detailed some of the game’s characters. Eve is a graduate of the academy who returned to help develop future students rather than becoming an adventurer, and acts as secretary to players in their new role as its principal. Leonid Marlen is a student hailing from the reclusive Mokosil tribe. He eschews his tribe’s tradition, seeking to pursue technological advancements.

Vilko Baskin is a nobleman from the Chernov family of knights. However, he is somewhat of a black sheep, starting to see the flaws of rigid tradition and is training to be a mage is secret. Finally, Esra Alexei is from a noble family and had a sheltered upbringing. She is happy to be able to live away from her parents and is a prodigy in technological Arcworks.
