The Tower -To the Bottom- Descends on PC in 2022

Publisher Shueisha Games and developer Tasto Alpha have released a trailer to announce their upcoming roguelike The Tower -To the Bottom-. Released in Japan as The Tower of Children, the game takes place within a mysterious tower, the top of which houses a village of children. Players must assist the children as they make their way down the tower, to the paradise that is rumored to exist at its base.

Combat is card-based, with players activating cards during battle to perform various actions. However, cards can have multiple functions, depending on which way they’re facing. A healing herb, for example, doubles as a poisonous root when inverted. The game is being developed for PC via Steam, and is expected to release sometime in 2022.
