The Tower -To the Bottom- Heading to Switch, January Date Announced

Publisher Shueisha Games announced a Nintendo Switch release for card-based roguelike The Tower -To the Bottom-. Developed by Tasto Alpha, the game will release worldwide for both PC and Nintendo Switch on January 19, 2023, priced at $19.99. It will support English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language options.

The Tower -To the Bottom- follows a group of twenty children living on top of a strange tower as they scrounge to survive. Hoping to find food and a rumoured paradise at its bottom, the children descend the tower in pairs. Players choose a pair to enter, each with their own starting class and stats as they go through the tower’s branching paths.

The game features a real-time card-based combat system as players build up a deck from available 70 cards. In each run, players can increase the children’s affinity and earn experience with which to unlock new starting cards and traits while upgrading their base. A demo is currently available on Steam.
