River City Girls 2 Introduces Its Villains
WayForward Technologies released a new trailer for its upcoming beat-’em-up River City Girls 2. The villains trailer introduces some of the foes players will face in the sequel to 2019’s Kunio-kun spin-off River City Girls, including crime lord Sabu, his adopted son Ken, and his daughter Sabuko.
In addition, WayForward Technologies released new screenshots for the game and revealed that it will include four-player co-op. River City Girls 2 will include six playable characters — Misako, Kyoko, Kunio, Riki, Provie, and Marian — as well as character-specific voiceovers, a non-linear game world, and RPG-like character growth. The game is planned to be released digitally on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch later this year. Limited Run Games will also be releasing a physical edition, with more details to be announced at a later date.
