Dragon Quest Treasures Gets Japanese TGS Trailer

Square Enix released a new Japanese trailer for Dragon Quest Treasures for this year’s Tokyo Game Show. The two-minute video shows protagonists Erik and Mia as well as some of its treasure hunting gameplay and event scene snippets.

Dragon Quest Treasures was originally teased as a new Dragon Quest Monsters game in 2018. The game follows siblings Erik and Mia — younger versions of the characters from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age — who seek to obtain the seven Dragonstones from Draconia, a floating island filled with monsters and treasure. The treasure-hunting RPG will release worldwide for Nintendo Switch on December 9, 2022.
