Marvel’s Midnight Suns Delayed

2K Games and Firaxis Games have announced a delay for the release of Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Previously planned for release in October 2022, the superhero tactical RPG now has a release window of this fiscal year, which in this case ends on March 31, 2023. The companies also announced that the game will initially launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions now “following at a later date”.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns puts players in the role of a character called the Hunter, with players able to select their appearance and powers. They lead a “darker order of heroes” against Lilith, attempting to defeat her before the Darkhold is complete. A new trailer — accompanied by some new screenshots — introduces Spider-Man as a playable character while also showing the corrupted versions of Venom, Sabretooth, Scarlet Witch, and the Hulk that join Lilith.
