New Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Videos Released

Capcom released a pair of new videos for Monster Hunter Rise‘s upcoming Sunbreak expansion. The first video offers a tour of the Citadel, a new area for quests with an array of biomes surrounding castle ruins. The second video shows a hunt against Garangolm, a new monster to be added with the expansion. Garangolm is a fanged beast that relies primarily on brute strength, but when enraged it will use the magma and moss on its arms to unleash fire and water-based attacks.

Monster Hunter Rise originally released for Nintendo Switch in 2021, with a PC version released in January 2022, and picked up RPGamer’s 2021 Game of the Year Award. The Sunbreak expansion will release on PC and Nintendo Switch on June 30, 2022. The expansion will be available to purchase individually or in a new bundle featuring both Monster Hunter Rise and Sunbreak.
