Kickstarter Check-In: Toasty: Ashes of Dusk

Developer Pocket Llama has begun a Kickstarter campaign for action RPG Toasty: Ashes of Dusk. The game is in development for PC, with Top Hat Studios creating PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch console versions, and is planned to release in late 2023.

Toasty: Ashes of Dusk is set on the world of Geldia, which has lost its champion to the forces of evil. However, despite having no memory of his past, a young marshmallowy knight named Marshall seeks to rise and protect the people. Marshall has access to various items and abilities including the Knabsack that he can trap enemies in, the Phantern that shows hidden objects, and the wall-destroying Trash Master. In addition to its regular top-down action gameplay, Toasty: Ashes of Dusk will also feature sequences with other mechanics including turn-based combat and bike racing.

The campaign for Toasty: Ashes of Dusk has already passed its $25,000 funding goal, with the campaign set to run until April 28, 2022. Those who pledge at least $20 will receive a digital PC or console copy of the game as part of their backer rewards.
