Honkai: Star Rail Closed Beta Announced
miHoYo and its subsidiary HoYoverse annouced a new closed beta for its upcoming turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail. The closed beta will run on PC, iOS, and Android, with sign-ups available on the game’s official website. The schedule for the beta will be announced at a later date.
Honkai: Star Rail is a new game in the company’s sci-fi Honkai franchise. The game’s universe features Aeons, incarnations of universal principles that can freely travel between its worlds and apply their principles to them. These include the Destruction, which wishes to eliminate civilisation and spreads seeds of ruin called Stellarons.
The game’s protagonist is one of those implanted with a Stellaron and embarks on a journey on the Astral Express along with other passengers looking to explore the universe and find out its secrets. As players visit different worlds, they find new companions and resolve conflicts with turn-based combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving.
