Solasta: Crown of the Magister Lost Valley DLC Announced

Tactical Adventures announced the Lost Valley DLC for its party-based RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Lost Valley will release for PC and Mac on April 14, 2022, and include a brand new campaign, new subclasses, and new dungeon maker content.

The Lost Valley campaign will take the player-created party from level one to twelve. It takes place in the lands of the Dominion, ruled by the tyrant Orenetis, and sees players allying with one of multiple factions as they look to escape. The campaign is designed to offer replayability as players choose which faction to team up with, and it will be playable in co-op for up to four players. It also includes new enemies such as giants, hags, and golems.

Lost Valley will also add a subclass for each of the nine regular classes: Commanders for Fighters, Hoodlum for Rogues, Oath of Judgment for Paladins, Mischief Domain for Clerics, Court Mage for Wizards, Swift Blade for Rangers, Haunted Soul for Sorcerers, Path of Claw for Barbarians, and Circle of Balance for Druids. The Barbarian and Druid classes and subclasses require players also own the Primal Calling DLC to access.

The dungeon maker mode will receive four new environments with Lost Valley: jungle, swamp, valley palace, and valley city. Owners will also be able to use monsters from the Lost Valley campaign within it. In addition, all owners of the game will be able to utilise new quest, dialogue, and loot systems within the dungeon maker mode.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister released in 2021. The game utilises the Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.1 ruleset and features a story campaign with players creating their own party of adventurers, with combat that makes heavy use of verticality.
