Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent English Release Announced

As part of its latest Japanese live stream focusing on the game’s upcoming ver. 2.0.0 update, Square Enix announced that North America and Europe will be receiving an English version mobile RPG Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. The game will release sometime in 2022, with more details expected later this month.

Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is a single-player free-to-play prequel to the Nintendo Switch game Octopath Traveler and released for iOS and Android in Japan in October 2020. The game features the same “HD-2D” graphics from the original title and lets players form a party of up to eight characters to use in battles.
