Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town Released on EGS, Pioneers of Olive Town Update Available

XSEED Games announced that farming sim Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is now available on the Epic Games Store. The game is priced at $39.99, with a 30% discount available until December 7, 2021.

In addition, the publisher announced that the version 1.1.0 update for Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is now available on PC and Nintendo Switch. The update adds new Spirit Quests, where players act as a medium between townsfolk and spirits to complete requests and earn rewards. It also includes new post-marriage event scenes, while those who own the Expansion Pass can attend festivals such as the Snowshine Celebration with their significant in-game other.

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town originally released for PC and Nintendo Switch in 2020 as well as for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2021. The game is a joint remake of the Game Boy Advance titles released in North America as Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town and Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town. Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is the latest title in the Bokujo Monogatari/Story of Seasons franchise, and released for PC and Nintendo Switch this year. The game sends players to Olive Town, a frontier seaside town where they attempt to restore their grandfather’s farm.
