River City Girls 2 Set to Be Unleashed in Summer

WayForward Technologies released a new trailer for River City Girls 2. The video reveals a summer 2022 launch window for the game, which will be released digitally on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Limited Run Games will be releasing a physical edition for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, with details to revealed at a later date.

River City Girls 2 is a sequel to 2019’s River City Girls, a spin-off to the Kunio-kun brawler series. It will features six playable characters — with Misako, Kyoko, Kunio, and Riki joined by newcomers Marian and Provie — as well as two-player online co-op. River City Girls 2 will also add new items, weapons, moves, shops, and hazards, plus a day-night cycle, quest tracking, three difficulty settings, and dialogue that changes depending on the player-controlled characters.
