The game, now considered part of the non-canonical Legends timeline, takes place 4,000 years prior to the Galactic Empire. Players control a Jedi Knight aiming to defeat Darth Malak and his Sith armada. Aspyr is also working on a complete remake of the game for PC and PlayStation 5.
