Lies of P Gameplay Trailer Released

The first pre-alpha gameplay footage has been unveiled for Neowiz and Round 8 Studio’s Lies of P, an upcoming action RPG inspired by Italian author Carlo Collodi’s Pinocchio. With a unique array of weapons to utilize, players will take on the role of the puppet mechanoid Pinocchio as he traverses the fallen city of Krat in search of Mr. Geppetto. Pinocchio’s mechanical arm provides additional options for combat, such as pulling in distant enemies with a grappling hook. 

On his journey through Krat, Pinocchio will craft weapons from salvaged materials and interact with the remaining few survivors of the calamity that has befallen the dark Belle Epoque-inspired world. If he tells a lie, Pinocchio becomes more human which confers both advantages and disadvantages. Accordingly, players will be able to make narrative choices in addition to customizing Pinocchio’s character progression.

Lies of P is planned for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. More information on the game’s story and features will be revealed at G-STAR in South Korea this November 17-21.
