Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier Out Now

Square Enix has released online battle royale spin-off Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier. The game is available now on iOS and Android as a free-to-play title with in-app transactions. Its first season is titled “Rise of Shinra”.

Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier is set before the events of Final Fantasy VII. It sees players controlling customiseable SOLDIER candidates with different combat styles: Warrior, Sorcerer, Monk, Ranger, and Ninja. In addition to fighting against other players, players can encounter monsters that when defeated grant experience and let them level up and unlock new weapons.
