Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Introduces Cosmo

Square Enix and Eidos Montreal released a new trailer for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy showing an event scene featuring Cosmo. Cosmo is a psionic and telepathic former Soviet space dog currently serving as both Knowhere’s Chief of Security and father to a litter of puppies.

Square Enix also revealed a new original song in the game, “Zero to Hero” as performed by the Star-Lord band, in addition to announcing most of the game’s licenced music. The game will include numerous licenced songs, with streamers able to activate an option to replace them with stream-safe alternative tracks. The list of songs can be viewed below along with two videos for “Zero to Hero”.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is an action adventure RPG based on the comic book superhero team created in 2008. Players control Peter Quill/Star-Lord and are able to make decisions that impact the Guardians’ relationships and missions. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is set to launch on October 26, 2021, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, as well as for Nintendo Switch as a cloud-based title.
