Blue Reflection: Second Light Shows Gameplay, Introduces Couple More Characters

Koei Tecmo released some new media and details for Gust’s Blue Reflection: Second Light. In addition to a new eight-minute gameplay tour video, the publisher provided new screenshots and introduced new two characters.

The two characters revealed are Uta Komagawa and Kirara Kuno. Like the other members of the cast, the two are transported to the mysterious academy surrounded by water only knowing their names. Uta Komagawa also appears in the Blue Reflection Ray anime series and is quiet and insecure, with the other characters being wary of her for unknown reasons. Meanwhile, Kirara Kuno appears to possess some prophetic ability.

Blue Reflection: Second Light is a sequel to Blue Reflection and follows Ao Hoshizaki and her friends, who lost their memories and are transported to a mysterious floating academy. While looking for a way home, they find an area around the academy they name Heartscape. In Heartscape, they discover various crafting materials as well as shining fragments that restore parts of their memories.

Blue Reflection: Second Light will be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on October 21, 2021, with releases in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch as well as PC worldwide set for November 9, 2021. A $129.99 physical Limited Edition is available to pre-order from NIS America’s online store on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
