The Witcher Tales: Thronebreaker Released on Android

CD Projekt RED has released an Android version of Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. The game is free to download from the Google Play Store, though it requires players to pay $9.99 to unlock the full game after a certain point in the story.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is set before the trilogy of Witcher games and puts players in the role of Meve, queen of the Northern nations of Lyria and Rivia, as she deals with an invasion from the Nilfgaardian Empire. The game started off as a single-player story campaign for the standalone release of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game before being changed to a separate release.

Thronebreaker features various management aspects as well as choices and consequences, with its combat system based on the Gwent card game. The game was released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2018 with Switch and iOS versions released in 2020.
