New World Gets Summer Game Fest Deep Dive

A new “Deep Dive” video is available for Amazon Games’ upcoming MMORPG New World. The 18-minute video features introductions to numerous parts of the game from its development staff along with accompanying gameplay footage, before Geoff Keighley has a Q&A with game director Scott Lane.

New World is set in a world inspired by the 17th century age of expedition, with players being part of the colonisation effort of Aeternum Island. The game is set to launch for PC on August 31, 2021, as a buy-to-play title. A closed beta test is planned to start on July 20, 2021, and will be open to all of those who pre-ordered the game.
