Edge of Eternity Fully Launches for PC
Publisher Dear Villagers and developer Midgar Studio have fully released JRPG-inspired title Edge of Eternity on PC. The game is available on Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store for $29.99. A new launch trailer and new screenshots can be viewed below.
Edge of Eternity combines turn-based and tactical combat, using an ATB-based combat system as well as a combat grid and environmental interactions. The game is set on the planet Heryon, which is plunged into a war between its inhabitants and invaders from space, and follows siblings Daryon and Selene as they look to find a cure for an affliction called the Corrosion. PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S versions are planned for release in Q4 2021.
Locations looks great, but there's not very much of actual interest within them.
Combat initially seems interesting but quickly feels repetitive and restrictive.
