Monster Hunter Stories 2 Gets Story Trailer

Capcom released a new story introduction trailer for the upcoming Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. The video gives a quick introduction to the premise, where the appearance of a red light comes at the same time that Rathalos begin to disappear. Players control a rookie Rider and meet up with a Wyverian girl named Ena, who knew their grandfather Red. The player is entrusted with an egg from which hatches a flightless Rathalos that is prophecised to bring forth a destructive power called the Wings of Ruin.

A follow-up to Nintendo 3DS title Monster Hunter Stories, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is a turn-based spin-off to the Monster Hunter series that sees players control a Rider, someone who partners up with and raises monsters. Monster Hunter Stories 2 will release digitally and physically for Nintendo Switch and digitally for PC on July 9, 2021.
