Monster Harvest Release Pushed to July

Merge Games announced that the release for Maple Powered Games’ Monster Harvest has been pushed back. The game will now launch digitally for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on July 8, 2021. Physical editions will be released  for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on July 20, 2021, and in Europe on July 23, 2021. The delay is stated to give the developer time to add new features including a dungeon minimap, more crops, new town additions, an overhaul of NPCs and relationships, a larger player farm, and more.

Monster Harvest sees players building up their farm near the town of Planimal Point, where they can explore the surroundings to find new resources to upgrade their home with. The crops planted can mutate into Planimals, which players can bring with them into battle. The world has three distinct seasons — Dry, Wet, and Dark — with bizarre weather patterns that affect what players can grow.
