Gotham Knights Pushed to 2022

Warner Bros. has announced that superhero open-world action RPG Gotham Knights has been delayed to 2022. The game was originally planned to release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X this year. The announcement includes a promise that more of the game will be showcased “in the coming months”.

Gotham Knights takes place following the death of Batman. Players control Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin as they attempt to step up as the new protectors of Gotham City as a new wave of crime spreads through the city, including villains such as Mr. Freeze. The game features five boroughs of Gotham City, with players able to use multiple methods of traversing the city as well as various skills and gear, with the playable characters gaining in power as the game progresses.
