Rune II: Decapitation Edition Receives Duplicity Update

Studio 369 and Ragnarok Game, LLC have released the “Duplicity” update to action RPG Rune II: Decapitation Edition. The update includes a new Goblin Mine Dungeon and new Goblin enemies, as well as new Last Viking Standing and Last Clan Standing PvP modes. It also includes a number of adjustments and bug fixes.

Rune II is not a direct sequel to the original game, but takes place in the same universe. The game was originally developed by Human Head Studios and released for PC on the Epic Games Store in 2019, with Human Head Studios closing down and reforming as a new studio within Bethesda Softworks immediately after the game’s release. Studio 369 was formed in the aftermath to rework the game. The revamped Decapitation Edition launched on Steam in November 2020, with Epic Games Store owners receiving it as a free update.
